Memories of Love, Eternal Youth, and Party Going is a street-level love letter to the Lower East Side’s queer performance scene led by Tavia Nyong’o with Paris Alexander, Moe Angelos, and Kay Turner. Starting at Dixon Place and winding past Seward Park & Library, Patricia Field, Congee Village, and Reena Spaulings, the walk stops at Bowery Ballroom and ends at Abrons Arts Center. Along the way, it traces how stages, galleries, and late-night spots became places to make work and make community; where queer theory met pop, and friendship shaped the culture. Part homage, part hangout, it’s about remembering together, caring for each other, and keeping the party going.
