Curator and artist Raimundas Malašauskas presents a two-night project at The Players, staged as a free-wheeling musical. Each evening, the same cast takes on different roles and stories. Across the space, conversations unfold, hypnosis leads into guided daydreams, and moments of music and movement appear and dissolve. The clown serves as a cue rather than a character, a reminder that distraction can reveal unexpected truths. These nights invite audiences into a shared moment of recognition, seeing ourselves as clowns, fools, or simply fellow travelers in the act of becoming.
Curated by Defne Ayas, Curator-at-Large, Performa, and Director, Van Abbemuseum in Eindhoven. Produced by Esa Nickle, Managing Director and Executive Producer, and Mimi Chiahemen, Biennial Coordinator & Producer.
Presented as part of the Lithuanian Pavilion Without Walls for the Performa 2025 Biennial and organized in collaboration with the Lithuanian Culture Institute.
